We’re a small group of highly experienced people that want to establish something special for our city. We live here, we work here and we want to contribute to our community. Community development is at the core of our belief system.
We’re rowers, dreamers and believers. With extensive knowledge of the sea and rivers.
We’re partnered with Beach Sprint Academy in Spain. An Academy dedicated to coastal rowing athlete development. During the season members travel to Torrevieja for extensive training. 🇮🇪 🤝 🇪🇸
Ander Martín, 6 time coastal rowing champion is our coaching advisor at Dublin City Coastal Rowing Club. Ander is also a member of the club and takes part in regattas during the season.

Our Identity
Our logo explained:
“Poolbeg Chimneys”denotes a significant landmark on both the River Liffey and Dublin Bay which is a nod to our training ground. The “sun” rising in the east communicates a new opportunity for coastal rowing in Dublin City. The “waving sea” communicates the challenge of coastal rowing.
Our club colours are: Gold (because that’s what we’re aiming for) & Royal Blue (for Dublin City).
